John Gladstone Mills III is a senior patent attorney with extensive patent prosecution and licensing experience gained from his over thirty years of service at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and in the Office of Counsel of the U.S. Navy.  Dr. Mills now counsels clients on patent prosecution before the USPTO and on business development for entrepreneurial ventures.  He is the winner of many distinguished service awards in the patent law arena and has lectured on patent law in New Zealand and Australia. He is also a contractor for the U.S. Navy, giving counsel on proprietary matters in Navy Open Architecture systems and interfaces.
